Each Leaf is a Snowflake?

Scientists are often challenged to offer an explanation for the random. To explain what we call random, however, often requires knowledge we don’t have.
I believe that people – many or even most – have an aversion to the random. We like a universe that is law-abiding, that throws no curveballs at us. At least in hindsight.
Boring. Personally, I’d hate to live in a universe that a super-duper computer could predict the changes of well ahead of time.
Mysteries aren’t bad. Not in my book.
