This azalea sports tissue-thin petals. The stamen remind me of alfalfa sprouts. I wonder what they taste like.

Isn’t that what they were designed to do? Intrigue the potential pollinators? How many flowers do you smell in a day?
Am I potential pollinator? My guess is that my “hungry” brain was designed to seek out potential calories wherever I might find them.
As to your question: not enough. Sometimes I go whole weeks without smelling a flower.
