Sago Plague

Here in Florida the sago palms have been under siege by a virulent parasite. Many have died, included the one above. We had collected seeds from it one year. From them we have a “daughter” specimen now growing. So far it lives without the protection of pesticides. I’d rather not intervene in the sago’s struggle to survive. If the insects win this round — good for them.
Of course, were insects attacking food plants, well, the gloves would come off and the ventilator mask on.
