A Pumpkin Patch for Agnostics
I like this cartoon from http://www.atheistcartoons.com/.

Although this cartoon is not overtly about agnosticism, you could say that on the belief-spectrum, the guy is moving toward it.
I’m not a fan of agnosticism. To me, the agnostic’s position on the existence of god x (insert definition here) is similar to being agnostic about whether or not there is a teapot orbiting the sun. Somewhere. No, we can’t prove there is. But we can’t absolutely prove there isn’t. So, ultimately, we don’t know.
Ultimates, schmultimates.
Of course, there are two important difference between a teapot and a god.
1) A god usually has some human-like qualities. Care for our kind, a mind capable of creating and/or knowing, etc.
2) While a teapot is a concrete object, a god is generally very abstract. And thus easier to project profundity into. And more difficult to smash.
Both hypotheses, however, completely lack unambiguous supporting evidence or even special-pleading-free reasoning that makes their existence plausible. So clinging to either is highly suspect, if not outright ridiculous.
